Return & Refund Policy – HAM Online Store

1. Introduction
Bhaveshwar Traders (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates HAM Online Store (“the Store”). This Return & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which you may return purchased products and receive a refund, in compliance with Indian consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
2. Eligibility for Returns
- Return requests must be submitted within 15 calendar days from the date of delivery.
- Products must be unused, in their original packaging, with all tags, accessories, and the original invoice.
- Items marked as “Final Sale”, “Non‑Returnable”, or “Perishable” are excluded from returns.
- Customized or personalized items cannot be returned unless they are defective or damaged.
3. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account and locate the order.
- Click “Request Return” and select the item(s) you wish to return.
- Provide a brief reason for the return and upload photos if the product is damaged.
- Submit the request. Our support team will review and, if approved, will email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and pickup instructions.
4. Return Shipping
For eligible returns, we will arrange a courier pickup at no cost to you, provided the return request is approved within the 15‑day window. If you choose to ship the item yourself, you must use a traceable service and cover the shipping cost; the expense will be deducted from the refund amount.
5. Inspection & Acceptance
Once the returned product reaches our warehouse, it will be inspected for compliance with the return criteria. If the item is deemed non‑compliant (e.g., used, damaged, missing accessories), we reserve the right to reject the return and notify you of the reason.
6. Refund Process
- Method: Refunds will be issued via the original mode of payment (credit/debit card, net‑banking, UPI, wallet, or COD).
- Timeline: Refunds are processed within 7‑10 business days after the returned item is received and approved.
- Amount: The refund will include the product price and any applicable taxes, less any shipping charges (except when the return is due to our error). For COD orders, the refund will be transferred to the bank account provided by you.
7. Exchanges
Exchanges are treated as a return followed by a new order. If the desired replacement is in stock, we will process the exchange once the original item is received and inspected. Any price difference will be settled during the exchange.
8. Defective or Wrong Items
If you receive a defective product or an item that differs from the order you placed, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return and provide a full refund or replacement, including shipping costs.
9. Non‑Returnable Items
- Perishable goods (e.g., fresh food, flowers).
- Personal hygiene items (e.g., cosmetics, underwear) once sealed.
- Digital products, software licenses, and gift cards.
- Products marked “Final Sale” or “Non‑Returnable” on the product page.
10. Restocking Fee
No restocking fee is applied for returns that meet the eligibility criteria. A handling charge may be deducted if the return is initiated by the customer for reasons other than product defect or error.
11. Cancellation of Orders
Orders can be cancelled without charge before they are processed for shipment. Once the order status changes to “Shipped”, the standard return procedure applies.
12. Consumer Rights Under Indian Law
Our policies are in addition to the rights granted to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to a fair refund for defective goods. If you feel your consumer rights have been violated, you may approach the appropriate consumer dispute redressal forum.
